Tea bags It

On a typically sunbaked bank holiday weekend at Salisbury, the well named Tea Leaf (Bushranger x Boston Ivy) made it two wins from three career starts. In a good handicap for fillies and mares, the pace was only average but stamina was just as important as finishing speed. Tea Leaf took a while to get on top, but the way she surged clear showed she stays 7f well and should even get 1m. A progressive filly, she has a likeable attitude and a tilt at the listed Sandringham Handicap, at Royal Ascot, is on the cards. Tea Leaf was a 19,000 GNS purchase from Tattersalls in 2012. Congratulations to all concerned.
